great access to udawalawe attractions and relaxing park views
My stay was wonderful, especially with the beautiful pool area surrounded by nature and the proximity to the Udawalawe Elephant Orphanage just a short drive away. I loved unwinding by the pool after a day of strolling through the wildlife-rich parks nearby which made exploring so easy.

The lack of AC in standard tents doesn’t cut it!!! A fridge would be a welcome addition!!! there were noise disturbances from nearby vehicles and fellow guests late into the night!!!

The luxury tent offered an amazing experience with an outdoor shower and beautiful views from the balcony. The noise from wildlife at night added a unique ambiance. The food was fantastic with a large selection of Sri Lankan and Western options at dinner. Breakfast included. The safari organized by the hotel was well worth the price, and our driver was knowledgeable about the wildlife, making the experience even better. the pool area needed more attention. it had old, broken chairs, and I noticed some cleanliness issues. the distance from the room to the main reception made accessing Wi-Fi tricky, which ideally should be addressed.

Just a prime choice for a brief hiatus in Udawalawe with excellent value for money. The outdoor restaurant was a nice spot to unwind while watching the kids play nearby. Avoid bringing too much food, as the wildlife might join you unexpectedly.

The spacious tent offered a unique experience with delightful outdoor bathrooms and great lighting. the mixed communication from staff, particularly regarding dietary requirements, highlighted some organizational issues. Dinner options lacked local flavor, compared to the outstanding breakfast menu featuring traditional Italian dishes, which stood out as a highlight of the stay. While the pool area was enjoyable, the lack of complimentary drinking water on-site was inconvenient.

The outdoor swimming pool was incredible and perfect for our teenage kids. We loved the children's playground and wildlife scenery. Our half-day safari was a highlight, with knowledgeable guides making it memorable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a great retreat.
My kids wished for better accessibility from the room to common areas.
